ABOUT OFF THE CLOCK FISHING

Off The Clock Fishing

Off The Clock Fishing was started by two working class guys, Tony Schmaltz and Colton Stephens. They are the guys that work their tails off at their full-time jobs, support/spend time with their families and then fish when they can on a limited budget.

Just like YOU.

They were tired of seeing the fishing gurus on TV or videos flashing their $100,000 boats and $50 lures, then trying to give advice to the average angler. Guess what? The average angler can't afford all of that gear or spend hours a day out on the water practicing.

This is why Off The Clock Fishing was started. It was started for those that "Clock Out" of work, then find whatever time they can to enjoy their hobby of fishing...on a limited budget. We're here to support the average, every day working angler like us catch as many and as big of fish as possible.

FISH ON MY FRIEND!!

Tony Schmaltz - Career Man, Husband/Father, and of Course Fisherman

My name is Tony Schmaltz and I have spent my entire life fishing when I am not working or spending time with my family. In 27 years in the manufacturing world, I have learned how to balance work, family, boating and fishing (All on a small budget).

My fishing journey started in the Pacific Northwest catching Salmon, Halibut, Ling Cod, Trout, Bass and several other species. We then moved across the country to Florida where I started catching things like Red Snapper, Amber Jack, King Mackeral and Wahoo.

The next stage of my working career has now brought us to Temple, Texas where I am now enjoying improving my skills at Bass fishing.

I am glad you get to be a part of my journey and story as we start this new adventure in Texas.

Colton Stephens - Passionate Career Man, Father, and of Course Fisherman

My name is Colton Stephens and I am former Military (Army) and a fabrication master (Right now, mostly welding).

I really enjoy working with my hands and build almost everything that my wife and I need myself. There is no reason for me to hire someone when I can build it myself and typically as good or better as the next guy.

I've been fishing the lakes of Texas for a long time for Bass, Crappie, Catfish and the works. It is thrilling for me to be able to share this journey with you as we show you what it is like to be able to affordably fish in Texas.

I am glad you get to be a part of my journey and story as we start this new video adventure.
